Audrey in Spring 2017
Postmarked in my brain as one of my most memorable shoots to date, this one changed things for me. I bought a grocery store bouquet (I didn’t have a favorite florist yet) and threw together two outfits that were new spring favorites from my personal wardrobe that I knew should be photographed. Audrey and I were both so jazzed to get outside on this spring day and see what would happen. I still wasn’t sure what I was doing exactly, didn’t have a goal. But I knew the sky was a perfect blue and Audrey looked natural and gorgeous. There were so many colors flooding my vision, I was ecstatic. Seeing the way these photos came out gave me confidence in myself, and inspired me to do more. It also solidified my love for shooting outdoors, and I haven’t often been able to break the habit since.
