Catherine in Mint Green 2019
It’s not easy to decide what to crown the “perfect summer color”, but this year for me, mint and pistachio greens took the cake. While building an editorial shoot using an array of beautiful garments from Cotillion Bureau, I realized that two of my favorites were already green tones, and I built from that going forward, adding sparkling silver tones and floral bags. Catherine, who I’ve had the pleasure to work with once before, waltzed shoulder deep through weedy fields to get the perfect wild flowers and the perfect sunlight, and also got lucky with an old abandoned stone building near the area we were exploring. The blue of the sky really helped create a dreamy color palette for this shoot.
