Jessica in Summer 2019
I was fortunate enough to shoot again in warmer temperatures with my good friend Jess. I had been waiting for the right time to shoot this embroidered and lace Rococo style gown handmade by my friend Katie. Jessie loved the dress and was a perfect fit for it as well. We thought her modern bob, a bright red lip and her perfectly matched red vintage boots was all we needed in terms of styling to turn her to a rebellious maiden straight out of a Jane Austen novel. We shot on a hot summer evening in the historic Strawbery Banke museum, after hours when there weren’t any other people milling about, and where Jess blended in like one of the re-enactors. This is one of my favorite shoots of the summer.
