The mist coming off the falls is cold, but the sun is warm. We’ve discovered this unwanted, absolutely, certainly Victorian era wedding gown, “I can tell by these stitches.” Katie is full of exquisite vintage knowledge. She conquers a nervous speculation of heights to carefully climb the sun-baked rocks by the falls and reach the perfect light that streams down through the pine trees. “I’m so glad I did that!” She told me on the walk back through the trails.
